Practical informationDatesThe Euclid-France #13 meeting will take place from January 7 to 9, 2025, starting at 13h30 on the 7th and finishing at 16h on the 9th. VenueThe meeting will be held at the Institut des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires (INSTN) at CEA Paris-Saclay (see map at the bottom of this page). The INSTN is located in the open area of CEA-Saclay (i.e. accessible without prior authorization, but please have an ID with you), and is served by various bus lines (see section below). There are a few accommodation options on the Saclay plateau, along the 91-06 line, more in Massy, and of course in Paris. The organising committee will provide transfer buses between Massy-Palaiseau and INSTN in the mornings or the 8th and 9th, as the buses are quite full with students from the Université Paris-Saclay. Return trips will have to be made using the public transportation system. The conference dinner will be held on 8 January at Brass & Co, on the Paris-Saclay campus, near Centrale Supélec, on line 91.06. Public TransportAs a participant to the conference, you will be using the public transportation system of région Ile-de-France (in particular in the evening after the session as well as to get to the place where we will have the conference dinner). Here is some information to prepare your travels. There are three local buses that go to the CEA Paris-Saclay East Gate (Porte Est, the bus stop name is Raoul Dautry):
The most "convenient" connections to the IAS (Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale) from the CEA are:

All possible ticket options can be found here. Access Map to INSTNPresentationsPresentations will have to be made in english, as the conference participants are not all french-speaking. If you have been selected for a presentation, please submit it in this Redmine zone no later than the day before the presentation. Instructions on how to format the file name will be provided here later. To avoid any last-minute surprises, please submit presentations at least in PDF format (it is unlikely that Keynote format will be usable on site). Please note that this year we haven't prepared a template for the presentations, so you're free to let your creativity rule! However you can also choose to use the general Euclid templates available on this Redmine site. On siteThe Eduroam network is available in the INSTN amphitheatre. If you are unable to connect to it, CEA provides wifi access but we will need to make nominal and individual access requests, so please contact the organisers if you think you will need access to this CEA network. There are only a few power sockets available. We will set up power strips so that you can charge your electronic devices during breaks, but it will not be possible to do so from the rows of the amphitheatre. The CEA does not allow the use of Zoom, so we will be using another system. For remote participants, please check your mailboxes for further instructions. |
